Boris is a creative technology solutionist, an agent of change and a public speaking pro!
During his 20 years of experience in Business Architecture and IT Program Management, Boris helped many organizations transform their businesses by designing the future in a way that is flexible to meet the challenges of today's world. He achieves success through a phased approach that starts with the alignment of stakeholders from business and technology to address risk and manage processes. He accomplishes this through communication, by fostering collaboration as a facilitator.
"We cannot build without planning; in turn, we cannot plan if we do not address people, processes, information and technology. I bring stakeholder groups together by focusing on the distinct perspectives of business drivers. Once our vision is adopted, then we can incorporate it into the technology solutions being built, integrated or deployed".
In his spare time, Boris volunteers on not-for-profit boards and mentors students at the University of Alberta to enhance their public speaking skills.
Ada is a consultant, a speaker, an instructor and a trainer!
Ada gained extensive Human Resources experience from a variety of industries. She provides strategic and pragmatic HR solutions to organizations while balancing vision, thought leadership, and execution. Ada also facilitates and delivers customized learning sessions to a variety of organizations and audiences. Furthermore, she provides personal job search and career coaching. She is well known to have helped many students/newcomers transition to working professionals, and many experienced professionals achieve professional success.
Ada’s out-of-box thinking and fine-tuned public speaking skills have earned her to be regularly invited to speak on human resources, people management, career search, and networking topics throughout the province. Ada is also a well-respected instructor at the University of Alberta and MacEwan University.
In her spare time, Ada mentors the students in the MBA Program at the University of Alberta.
Doug is a reputable HR leader and a community champion!
Doug has been an HR professional in Alberta for over 30 years. His most recent significant roles have been in executive leadership in Human Resources with Edmonton Economic Development Corporation and senior leadership with Northlands. He has also held senior HR roles in industrial supply with Acklands - Grainger and with publicly traded TELUS Corp.
Doug started his HR career in the oilfield drilling business and has enjoyed opportunities to stay connected with the operational side of the Alberta industry. He has sat on HR-related Advisory Boards and has instructed in the MacEwan HR Certificate Program. Doug has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. He enjoys building strategic programs, policies and high-performing teams that help achieve operational objectives.
In his spare time, Doug volunteers at a number of charity organizations and a golf course.
Amber is an energetic and dedicated HR specialist, and a traveller!
With an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, and two years of HR experience, Amber also has four years of hospitality and customer service experience in a supervisory capacity. She is dedicated to supporting the needs of diverse clients. Her eagerness to create a difference in her practice and community makes her clients passionate about working with her. Besides being organized and detail-oriented, Amber has also developed superior public speaking and employee relations skills. She developed a reputation for helping new graduates and young professionals to navigate through the changes post-graduation in order to achieve their career goals.
In her spare time, Amber volunteered at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
Phillip is a senior human resources professional with over 35 years of human resources expertise in a broad range of human resource areas including compensation, leadership development, HRIS systems, and talent sourcing. His experience extends across numerous sectors ranging from utilities to aviation services, and he has worked in both Canada and the USA. His areas of expertise include compensation strategy and planning, incentive programs, succession planning, leadership development and assessments, organization design, HR process reviews, performance management, human resource information systems, and talent sourcing.
Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and Certificates in Human Resources Management and Addiction Studies from the University of Alberta.
Lisa comes with 20+ years of progressive HR/LR experience in Western Canada working with private, public and not-for-profit organizations. She is highly regarded for building the HR foundation, policies and programs for municipality, public library, provincial government association and manufacturing company. She also facilitates and delivers customized learning sessions to a variety of organizations and audiences that include leaders, managers, frontline staff, union stakeholders, government, and other community entities.
A big picture thinker who considers the management, planning & prioritizing of available resources, Lisa enjoys volunteering her time on a variety of Boards and committees including Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna, BC which has a long-term arrangement with the City of Kelowna.
Nina is a marketing enthusiast, a food blogger and a photographer.
With a Master of Science Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta, Nina is not a typical marketing person! Her passion towards using creative approaches to promote businesses matches well with her astonishing social media marketing skills. Nina possesses more than two years of hands on experience in digital marketing and video production, with a proven track record of developing strategies that increase audience engagement for small to medium size companies.
In her spare time, Nina enjoys trying out different cuisine, planning special events. She often follows trends and news in the marketing field to keep her knowledge fresh.
Shruti is an engineer, marketing professional, and business operations analyst!
Graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from a renowned university in India, Shruti is a caring, diligent and adaptable professional. Her exciting career experiences include 2 years in field engineering and quality control, in addition to another 2 years in environmental sustainability, operations analytics and marketing in non-profit and for-profit organizations. Demonstrating a perfect combination of creativity and systematic approach, Shruti’s unmatched passion to explore collaboration opportunities and to develop out of the box ideas is what made her who she is.
In her spare time, Shruti serves on a number of not-for-profit boards and teaches children mathematics skills.
